Remember When Vacations
Our Eagle River home offers 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with a pair of great rooms and a huge kitchen.
Our kitchen windows overlook the lake and the deck so you can enjoy the views while you are prepping or cleaning up meals. We have stocked the kitchen with plenty of cook and bakeware along with a selection of spices and seasonings so you can do as much (or as little) cooking as you like. You will find more than enough dishes and silverware for your group and seating for everyone at the huge farm table and breakfast bar or outside on the deck; the space flows freely and leaves no one feeling left out. On chilly days, toss a few logs into the fireplace and spread out at the table playing a game while enjoying a cozy fire.
The 3 bedrooms on the main floor include a master suite with a king sized bed and private bathroom with a shower stall and a fantastic view of the sunrise over the lake, and bedroom suite of rooms, one room with a queen sized bed and another attached room with a queen sized bed and a set of bunks. The walkout lower level includes a second master suite with a king sized bed and private bath with a giant shower stall and a lovely view of the sunrise over the lake; a very private bedroom with a queen sized bed and attached bath with shower stall; and a bedroom with 3 sets of bunks.
There is also a great room on the main floor that offers sofa seating for at least 6, and a great spot to relax away and read a book.
The lower level great room has a large patio door with a stunning lake view and a 50 inch television and a selection of books and games and puzzles to keep you busy on quiet days. Also on the lower level is a laundry area available for your use.
For outdoor fun, we provide 2 kayaks, a paddleboat, a swim raft and a 14 foot rowboat. There is a fire pit just off the large deck. A charcoal grill is also provided. We have a very large parking area which can accommodate several cars and/or trailers.
-In our home you will find sheets, pillowcases, blankets, towels, and pillows. Please bring your own beach towels.
-We've stocked the home with board games, puzzles and playing cards for rainy day (or quiet time) activities.
-We supply coffee filters, one roll of paper towels, a roll of septic safe toilet paper for each bathroom, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent and laundry soap for you to wash the towels. Our care team washes the sheets after each group departs.
-Fireworks scare the wildlife, therefore are not allowed on the property. There is no smoking allowed on the property.
-Pets are welcome, but be sure to clean up after them.
-We have trash pickup at our home (and you will be asked to move the cans to the pick up point on the day of pickup) but if you have generated large amounts of waste, we will ask you to take it to the town dump, which is conveniently located within a mile of our home. If you have been lucky enough to catch enough fish to feed the gang, we ask that you appropriately bag the remains and store them in the freezer until trash day (or the day of your departure).
